The Coalition is an organization dedicated to
raising peace and social justice issues as key agenda items of major faith, social,
and community groups in the South West Florida geographical area. As such, its
mission is to act as a focal point for networking Southwest Florida member organizations
to coordinate their nonviolent, non partisan activities for peace and social justice;
to organize and conduct informative programs, workshops and forums on current
moral issues; to promote positive peace vigils and demonstrations, and to support
non partisan public discussions and campaigns in the interest of world peace and
social justice.
Intention: To discuss and take actions to change government
officials behavior so that they support civil rights, justice and peace. To oppose
politics without principles and a government of greed run by multi-national corporations.
